The erection of free shape constructions with the M12 tube and node systems is much easier than one might believe. Computerized manufacturing of the MERO tubes and nodes secures a precise production of the material. In the 'Nautilus' structure, for example, 226 of the 1308 tubes have different lengths. The nodes, however, are still more individual: Each of the 477 nodes has a different drilling angle and therefore has an unequivocal position within the 'Nautilus'. The arrangement of the tubes and nodes according to their position into numbered boxes, secures a quick and problem-free assembling on site.


Construction times: For a free shape construction in the dimensions of the 'Nautilus' ( i.e. 88.5 running feet at ground plan and 16 feet high) installation time is approximately 12 hours with four installers.
