M12 System: Spider Fixing Technique

The M12 System offers different solutions for cladding.

If clear plastic clips, or plastic fixing channels are used, the space frame structure remains visible. Alternatively, you can hide the structure completely. The Cladding Connector M12 was designed to position lightweight panels up to 16 mm (over 6 inches) in front of the space frame. The new M12 Half Node may be used to reduce the distance between structures and cladding panels even further.

Also positioned in front of the system structure, the cruciform shaped Spider Fixing (see picture) allows bolted point fixing of a wide range of cladding materials (including glass). This method of fixing provides a stable connection between the nodes of the space frame.
